Mission

Working in the corporate world, I honed my skills in data analysis and financial reporting. I developed the ability to take complex data and simplify it, turning it into a solid foundation for informed decision-making. 

While my career was rooted in the corporate sector, my heart has always been with nonprofits.

I always found time to volunteer. My career paid the bills, but my volunteering is the time in my life that held meaning for me.

I've spent years volunteering with domestic violence and rape survivors, and advocating for children in the foster care system. I also took two international sabbaticals to work with NGOs. I participated in a skills transfer program in Kenya and an internship in Vietnam.

This is how 501cBookkeeping was born. It's the merging of my love for organizations dedicated to helping, community, and the flourishing of us all, with my experience of data analysis, reporting, and compliant systems.
